About the Role
Due to the rapid growth of our law firm, we are constantly recruiting for the position of Bilingual Associate Attorney. Major responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Managing a high case load of immigration cases, including immigrant visas (both family-based and employment-based), nonimmigrant visas (L-1, H-1, E-1/2, R-1) and naturalization.
Preparing petition letters and collect/review documents in support of above mentioned immigration cases.
Communicating with clients and answering clients’ questions
Performing consultations and providing research.
Supervise legal assistants and provide internal training to legal assistants
Research immigration policies and procedures, as well as immigration statutes, case laws and regulations
Requirements
Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is a must
Excellent spoken and written communication skills
Strong legal research and writing skills
At least 2 years of experience in business and investment related immigration cases required
JD or LLM degree with Bar admission in any state (good standing) but preferably California
